Exactly the kinds of thinking I've come across recently. I never want to use the term: Contact. Acquaintance or friend is much better and reflects a healthy attitude as well. I use LinkedIn though, to keep a pseudo contact database for people I like. Then again, it's not something I rely upon...because all those people I've spoken/interacted with in other ways.
