9 days ago, Jack blogged that the buzz for SoaP didn't seem to be as high as he would have expected, and cited that there were 'only' 11 million references for SoaP when he googled the term. Now that number is over 14 million.
However, while the traffic to Snakes on a Blog is up slightly, but it's nothing spectacular, yet.

Hi Mack: Eleven million was still high, but not when you put it into the context of the buzz the blogosphere and mainstream media generated months ago, that put Snakes on a Plane up to nine million. New Line lost a lot of that momentum with its timing, in my view. (I would kill for these numbers, mind you!)
I think it will be interesting to see what happens this week, it's gone up 3 million since your search on the 5th, if it gains another million or 2 this week I think that's a very good sign for opening weekend.
And keep in mind that the cost was reportedly only about 30 million, and I think SoaP has a decent shot of matching or topping that this weekend. That alone will generate a ton of pub next week.
