Fairly stable week for the Top 25, as the Top 12 remains the same. Logic + Emotion again had a nice week, and again had the biggest move in the Top 12. Just for reference, there are now 4 blogs in the Top 12 that weren't a member of the first Top 25, led by Daily Fix at #6. Duct Tape is starting to grow a bit of a cushion between the #2 spot and CPU and Gaping Void.
Outside the Top 12, Jaffe Juice has another decent week. Not a huge move, but after slipping for weeks, JJ has now gained back about half its losses. What's Next also had a big week, and BMA continues its winning streak with another nice move.
No new blogs again this week, but a few are getting close to joining the party. We'll see what happens.
Next update is next Wednesday.

What I've learned through this valuable process is how important it is to keep up posting regularity.

What about bizhack? My focus is "technology + social media + business + marketing," so maybe it's not focused enough for you, but my Alexa rating is currently 194,450.

I agree with Jaffe. Though I'm still surprised to be on this list (thanks!), it's given me some extra juice when considering what and when to post.
Thank yous to Mack, others on the list, those about to be on the list - and most of all the community of readers.
Together we're smarter...and better...

Just out of curiousity, how are these rankings determined?
I looked for a guide, so if I missed it by being clueless, please forgive!

Nevermind, it's Alexa 3 month average.
Sorry for being dense.
Too bad a copywriting blog would never be considered for the #2 ranking. :)

Brian you've got it, it's the Alexa rankings.
And there's some judgment calls made on my part. The general rule is if your blog focuses on marketing primarily, I'll probably include it. If your blog is primarily focused on SEO, SEM, Sales Lead/Generation, odds are incredibly good that it won't be included.
Also I do consider content that's consistent with the rest of the Top 25. For example, I also write for Marketing Vox, which is a bit different from the other blogs listed here because it's more news-oriented, and we post more in a day than most other marketing blogs post in 2 weeks. Since the format/style is so different than the rest of the blogs, I don't feel it's fair to list Vox here. If I did, Vox would be the grab the #1 spot.
On the other hand, MediaBuyerPlanner is Vox's sister site, and they focus a bit more on advertising news, and their format IS consistent with the Top 25 Advertising blogs, so I list MBP in the Top 25 Advertising blogs.
But as I've always said, Alexa is subjective, and the Top 25 inclusion criteria is my own. I leave it to you to determine what, if any, credibility the list should have.

It's a great list... I read most everyone here.
And yes, I agree that I'm a bit too pragmatic on the sales and SEO side for the list. But then again, that's what being "Beyond Madison Avenue" has been about for a long time. :)

Well damn... I went to look up my Alexa rating to see where I fell and how likely it might be that I'd find my site in the list. Turns out I have a LOOOONG way to go! :)
