What will the future of blogging look like?

Travis at Young Go Getter recently asked some 'thought leaders' what they thought the future of blogging would look like.

According to Travis, Seth wrote back "I have no clue. I’m sorry, Travis."

Classic. Maybe accurately predicting the future isn't what counts, but rather being able to take advantage of it when it arrives?

The future of blogging isn't what it used to be. It used to be podcast and vlogs but it's morphing into something else that's very unpredictable. Just when we think we have a good handle on it, chaos erupt leading to the emergence of a few creative geniuses who help us tap into the possibilities.

I think the future of blogging will take several routes. As a news source, blogging will evolve to substitute print. Multimedia and commenting will give people a more interactive approach to news and credible influencers will arise as trusted sources.

As for entertainment and consumer information, blogs will develop into an area where most people will interact with in order to find their fix of daily entertainment as well as their consumer advice.
